Maple Pork Chops with Sweet Potato Bacon Hash Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 1 1/4 pounds of sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 3/4-inch pieces
* 6 slices of bacon, chopped fine
* 4 bone-in pork rib chops, about 1 inch thick, trimmed (8-ounce)
* Salt and pepper
* 2 teaspoons of minced fresh thyme
* 1/2 cup of maple syrup
* 1 tablespoon of cider vinegar
* 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard

Preparation steps:

* Place potatoes in large bowl, cover, and microwave until tender, 4 to 7 minutes. Meanwhile, cook bacon in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until crisp, 5 to 7 minutes. Using slotted spoon, transfer bacon to paper towel-lined plate. Pour off fat, reserving 2 tablespoons.
* Cut 2 slits, about 2 inches apart, through outer layer of fat and skin on each chop. Pat chops dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon reserved fat in now-empty skillet over medium heat until just smoking. Add chops and cook until browned, about 4 minutes per side. Transfer chops to plate and tent loosely with aluminum foil.
* Add remaining 1 tablespoon reserved fat and potatoes to now-empty skillet and cook, turning occasionally, until browned all over. Stir in thyme and bacon. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to serving bowl.
* Add maple syrup, vinegar, and mustard to now-empty skillet and cook until thickened, about 2 minutes. Add chops and any accumulated juices and simmer, turning often, until glaze coats chops (approximately 2 minutes). Meat should register 145 degrees. * Serve with potatoes.

Ingredients needed:

* 1/2 cup plus 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, divided
* 3 tablespoons of sugar
* 8 cups of peeled and thinly sliced pears
* 2 cups of frozen raspberries
* 1 cup of quick-cooking oats (not instant)
* 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons firmly packed light brown sugar
* 1 teaspoon of finely chopped crystallized ginger
* 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
* 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
* 1/4 cup of butter, softened

Preparation steps:

* Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 13-inch by 9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
* In a large bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of flour and sugar. Add pears and raspberries, tossing to coat. Pour into a prepared baking dish.
* In a medium bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, remaining 1/2 cup of flour, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Using a pastry blender or your fingers, work butter into mixture until crumbly with pea-sized pieces of butter remaining. Sprinkle over fruit.
* Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Tangy Meat Loaf Oven Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 1 1/3 pounds ground chuck
* 1/2 cup of frozen seasoning blend
* 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs with cheese
* 3 tablespoons of steak sauce
* 2 tablespoons of yellow mustard
* 1/2 teaspoon of salt
* 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper

Ingredients for sauce:

* 1 cup of ketchup
* 1/4 cup bold and spicy steak sauce

Preparation steps:

* Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.
* In a large bowl, combine ground chuck, seasoning blend, bread crumbs, 3 tablespoons of steak sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Shape into loaf on prepared pan.
* In a medium bowl, combine ketchup and 1/4 cup spicy steak sauce, stirring well. Reserve 1/2 cup of sauce.
* Bake meat loaf for 1 hour. Brush with sauce.
* Let meat loaf stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
* Serve with reserved 1/2 cup sauce.

Bread Pudding With Maple-Orange Syrup Oven Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 6 cups of cubed day-old French bread
* 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
* 2 cups of half-and-half
* 2 cups of sugar
* 1 cup of raisins
* 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
* 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
* 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
* 1/2 cup of maple syrup
* 1 tablespoon of orange zest
* 1/4 cup of fresh orange juice

Preparation steps:

* Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray a 13 X 9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
* Place bread cubes in a large bowl. In another large bowl, whisk together eggs, half-and-half, sugar, raisins, vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Pour over bread. Let stand for 15 minutes. Spoon mixture into prepared dish.
* Bake until lightly browned and set, approximately 1 hour.
* In a small saucepan, bring maple syrup and orange zest and juice to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat, and simmer until mixture is reduced to 1/2 cup, approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool slightly.
* Serve with warm bread pudding.

Ingredients needed:

* 2 cups of uncooked spiral pasta
* 1 lb. ground beef
* 1 jar of salsa (16 oz.)
* 1 can of cream of chicken soup
* 1 cup of shredded Mexican cheese blend, divided

Preparation steps:

* Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
* Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, cook beef in a Dutch oven over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
* Stir in the salsa, soup and 1/2 cup cheese; heat through. Drain pasta; stir into meat mixture.
* Transfer to a greased 11-inch by 7-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
* Cover and bake for 18 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Serve and Enjoy

Ingredients needed:

* 4 salmon fillets (6 oz. each)
* 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
* 3/4 cup of mango salsa
* 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Preparation steps:

* Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
* Place salmon in a 15 inch by 10 inch baking pan coated with cooking spray.
* Sprinkle with garlic powder and cayenne. Spoon salsa over top.
* Bake for 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Santa Fe Cheesecake Oven Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 1 cup of crushed tortilla chips
* 3 tablespoons of butter, melted
* 2 packages of cream cheese, softened
* 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
* 2 cups of shredded Monterey Jack cheese
* 1 can of chopped green chilies, drained (4 oz)
* 1 cup of sour cream
* 1 cup of chopped sweet yellow pepper
* 1/2 cup of chopped green onions
* 1/3 cup of chopped tomato

Preparation steps:

* Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
* In a small bowl, combine tortilla chips and butter; press onto the bottom of a greased 9 inch springform pan. Place on a baking sheet.
* Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
* In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs; beat on low speed just until combined. Stir in Monterey Jack cheese and chilies; pour into crust.
* Place pan on a baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Spread sour cream over cheesecake. Carefully run a knife around edge of pan to loosen; cool for 1 hour. Refrigerate overnight.
* Remove sides of pan. Garnish with yellow pepper, onions and tomato.

Serve and enjoy
