Sausage Florentine Potpie Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 1 lb. of bulk Italian sausage
* 2 1/2 cups of sliced fresh mushrooms
* 1 medium red onion, chopped
* 3 garlic cloves, minced
* 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
* 1 package of frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry (10 oz.)
* 1 cup of half-and-half cream
* 1 cup of shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
* 1/2 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese

Ingredients needed for topping:

* 5 sheets of phyllo dough (14 in. by 9 in.)
* 2 tablespoons of butter, melted
* 1 egg
* 1 tablespoon of water

Preparation steps:

* In a large skillet, cook the sausage, mushrooms, onion and garlic over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
* Add the soup, spinach, cream and cheeses; cook and stir until the cheese is melted.
* Transfer to a greased 11 x 7-inch baking dish. Place a phyllo sheet over top; brush with some of the butter. Repeat with remaining phyllo dough and butter. Crimp edges of dough.
* Whisk the egg and water; brush over the top.
* Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
* Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

FALL DIP
{Cool Whip, vanilla pudding mix, and a can of pumpkin}

I make this every year. You use 16 oz of cool whip, 3 small boxes instant vanilla pudding *** dry mix only*** DON'T make the pudding*** , one small can of pumpkin. Mix everything together and then add some pumpkin pie spice. Serve with graham crackers and sliced apples. It is so delicious.

New York Cheesecake Cookies Oven Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 1 1/4 cup graham crackers, finely crushed (1 sleeve)
* 1 cup flour
* 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
* 1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, softened
* 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
* 1 egg, separated
* 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
* 1/4 cup granulated sugar
* 2 teaspoons of lemon zest
* 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Preparation steps:

* Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
* In a large bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs, flour and baking powder. In a medium bowl, beat together the butter with the brown sugar
using an electric hand mixer. Add the egg white and beat until well combined. Add to the graham cracker crumbs and blend until just combined.
* In a separate medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese with the granulated sugar, egg yolk, lemon zest and vanilla until well combined. Set aside.
* Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop out the cookie dough and place on a nonstick or parchment lined baking sheet. (If you do not have an ice scoop, then measure out the dough into scoops of about 2 tablespoons.) Flatten slightly, pressing your thumb in the center of the ball to create a small bowl shape. Repeat with the remaining dough. Spoon the cream cheese into the indents in the cookies.
* Bake until the filling is barely set and the cookies are lightly golden, 12 minutes. Allow to cool 5 minutes on the baking sheets before removing them and cooling completely on a wire rack.

One Bowl Apple Cake Oven Recipe



This cake is so moist and rich and just perfect for this time of year. (and easy to make!)


Ingredients needed:

* 2 eggs
* 1 3/4 cups sugar
* 2 heaping teaspoons cinnamon
* 1/2 cup oil
* 6 medium Gala or Fuji or Honey Crisp apples
* 2 cups flour
* 2 teaspoons baking soda

Preparation steps:

* Preheat oven to 350°.
* In a large bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, cinnamon and oil.
* Peel and slice the apples and add to mixture in bowl (coating as you go to keep apples from turning brown.)
* Mix together the baking soda and flour and add to the ingredients in the bowl. Mix well (best with a fork) until all of the flour is absorbed by the wet ingredients.
* Pour mixture into a greased one 9x13 or two 9″ round pans.
* Bake for approximately 55 minutes.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes Oven Recipe




Ingredients:

For the Chocolate Cupcakes

3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

For the Peanut Butter Buttercream

* 1/2 cup granulated sugar
* 2 large egg whites
* 1/8 teaspoon salt
* 12 tablespoons softened unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
* 1 cup peanut butter
* 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

For the Chocolate Coating

* 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
* 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Preparation steps:

* Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line muffin pan with 10 cupcake cups.
* In medium bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
* In larger bowl combine sugar, buttermilk, oil, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Add dry mixture and whisk until smooth. Spoon batter into cupcake cups, dividing evenly.
* Bake 25 minutes or until center is just set. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes and then transfer cupcakes to wire rack. Cool completely.
* While cupcakes are cooling, prepare the buttercream frosting. Combine sugar, egg whites, and salt in bowl of electric stand mixer.
* Set bowl over pan of simmering water. Gently whisk until mixture registers 160 degrees F on instant-read thermometer.
* Immediately transfer bowl to electric stand mixer. With whisk attachment, whip on medium-high speed until mixture resembles consistency of shaving cream.
* On medium speed, add butter one piece at a time, until combined and creamy.
* Whip in peanut butter and vanilla, and beat until smooth.
* Transfer buttercream to pastry bag fitted with a plain 1/2-inch tip (#808).
* Pipe 1/3 cup frosting onto each cupcake. Chill cupcakes in refrigerator until buttercream is completely firm, about 1 hour.
* Once the cupcakes have chilled, make the chocolate coating. Place oil and chocolate in a medium bowl and melt over a pan of gently simmering water.
* Stir until chocolate has melted and mixture is smooth. Transfer to a large coffee mug.
* Holding cupcake by the bottom, carefully dip into the chocolate. Be sure to submerge all of the buttercream.
* Pull up and hold for a few seconds to let excess chocolate drip off. Transfer to cooling rack and repeat with remaining cupcakes.
* Before serving, let cupcakes rest a few minutes so chocolate can set.

Ingredients needed:

* 1 1/2 cups butter, softened
* 1 8 oz. package of Cream cheese, softened
* 3 cups of sugar
* 6 large eggs
* 1 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
* 3 cups all-purpose flour
* 1/8 teaspoon of salt

Preparation steps:

* Beat butter and cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer 2 minutes or until creamy.
* Gradually add sugar, beating 5 to 7 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating just until yellow disappears. Add vanilla mixing well. Combine flour and salt, gradually add to butter mixture, beating at low speed just until blended after each addition.
* Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Fill a 2-cup, ovenproof measuring cup with water; place in oven with tube pan. This will help keep the cake moist.
* Bake at 300°F for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack 10 to 15 minutes; remove from pan, and cool completely on a wire rack.

Ingredients needed for glaze:

* 1 cup powdered sugar
* 1/2 tsp vanilla
* 1 tablespoon of milk

Preparation steps for glaze:

* Mix together until you have reached desired consistency, but should be thin.
* Add more milk one teaspoon at a time to get the thinness you want.
* Drizzle over cooled cake.

Ingredients needed:

* 1 1/3 cups of all-purpose flour
* 1/2 cup of sugar
* 2 teaspoons of baking powder
* 1/4 teaspoon of salt
* 2/3 cup of buttermilk
* 1/4 cup of butter, melted
* 1 egg
* 1 tablespoon of orange juice
* 1 teaspoon of grated orange peel
* 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
* 1 cup of sliced fresh strawberries

Ingredients needed for topping:

* 1 1/2 cups of sliced fresh strawberries
* 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
* 1 teaspoon of sugar
* 2 cups of whipped topping
* 2 teaspoons of orange liqueur or orange juice

Preparation steps:

* Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line bottom of a greased 9-inch round baking pan with parchment paper; grease paper.
* In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, melted butter, egg, orange juice, orange peel and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in 1 cup sliced strawberries. Transfer to prepared pan.
* Bake 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes prior to removing from pan to a wire rack; remove paper. Cool completely.
* For topping, in a small bowl, toss strawberries with lemon juice and sugar. Refrigerate until serving. In another bowl, mix whipped topping and liqueur; spread over cake. Drain strawberries; arrange over top.

Southwestern Wagon Wheels Pasta Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 4 cups of uncooked wagon wheel pasta
* 1 lb. of ground beef
* 2 cans of condensed tomato soup, undiluted
* 1 cup of medium salsa
* 1 jar of sliced mushrooms, drained
* 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
* 1/2 cup of sour cream
* 1/3 cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Preparation steps:

* Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in the soup, salsa, mushrooms and oregano. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Stir in the sour cream; heat through.
* Drain pasta; serve with sauce mixture.

Sprinkle with cheese and enjoy.

* In a small saucepan, heat chili.

Ingredients needed:

* 1/2 cup of chopped onion
* 1 jalapeno pepper, minced
* 1 tablespoon of canola oil
* 6 large eggs, lightly beaten
* 6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
* 1 small tomato, chopped
* 1 ripe avocado, cut into 1-inch slices
* 1 cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided
* Salt and pepper to taste
* Salsa is optional

Preparation steps:

* In a large skillet, sauté onion and jalapeno in oil until tender; remove with a slotted spoon and set aside. Pour eggs into the same skillet; cover and cook over low heat for 4 minutes.
* Sprinkle with the onion mixture, bacon, tomato, avocado and 1/2 cup of cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
* Fold omelet in half over filling. Cover and cook for 3 1/2 minutes or until eggs are set. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Serve with the salsa if desired.

Ingredients needed:

* 1 cup of diced fully cooked ham
* 3/4 cup of shredded Swiss cheese
* 5 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
* 3/4 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
* 3 tablespoons of chopped onion
* 3 tablespoons of chopped green pepper
* 1 cup of milk
* 1/4 cup biscuit/baking mix
* 2 large eggs
* 1/4 teaspoon of salt
* 1/8 teaspoon of pepper

Preparation steps:

* In a greased 10-inch quiche dish or pie plate, layer the ham, Swiss cheese, bacon, cheddar cheese, onion and green pepper. Place the remaining ingredients in blender in order given; cover and process for 35 to 40 seconds. Pour over the meat, cheese and vegetables; don't stir.
* Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
* Let stand for 5 minutes prior to cutting.

Cracker Barrel Chicken and Dumplings Recipe



Ingredients:
2 cups Flour
½ teaspoons Baking Powder
1 pinch Salt
2 Tablespoons Butter
1 Cup butterMilk, A Bit Less Than A Full Cup (you can use regular milk if needed)
2 quarts Chicken Broth
3 cups Cooked Chicken

Preparation Instructions:
In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Cut the butter into the dry ingredients with a fork or pastry blender. Stir in the milk, mixing with a fork until the dough forms a ball.

Heavily flour a work surface. You’ll need a rolling pin and something to cut the dumplings with. I like to use a pizza cutter. I also like to use a small spatula to lift the dumplings off the cutting surface.

Roll the dough out thin with a heavily floured rolling pin. Dip your cutter in flour and cut the dumplings in squares about 2″x2″. It’s okay for them not to be exact. Just eye ball it. Some will be bigger, some smaller, some shaped funny.

Use the floured spatula to put them on a heavily floured plate. Just keep flouring between the layers of dumplings.

To cook them, bring the broth to a boil. Drop the dumplings in one at a time, stirring while you add them. The extra flour on them will help thicken the broth. Cook them for about 15-20 minutes or until they not doughy tasting. Add the cooked chicken to the pot and you’re done!

Ingredients needed:

* 1/4 cup of butter
* 2 cups frozen small whole onions (from 1-lb bag)
* 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
* 1 pouch of roasted garlic mashed potato mix (from 7.2-oz. box)
* 1 1/4 cups of hot water
* 2/3 cup of milk
* 16 oz frozen cooked Swedish-style meatballs (about 32), thawed
* 1 jar of mushroom-beef gravy

Preparation steps:

* Heat oven to 375 degrees. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter over medium-low heat. Add onions and brown sugar. Cover and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover; increase heat to medium-high. Cook for 7 minutes longer, stirring occasionally, until onions begin to turn golden brown.
* Meanwhile, in 1 1/2-quart microwavable bowl, stir potato mix, hot water, milk and remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until moistened. Cover with microwavable plastic wrap, folding over one corner to vent. Microwave on high for 2 to 6 minutes or until hot. Stir gently until blended; whip until smooth.
* Gently stir meatballs and gravy into onion mixture in skillet; spoon into ungreased 2 1/2 quart casserole. Spoon or pipe potatoes around outside edge of mixture.
* Bake uncovered for 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly, and potatoes are golden brown and set.

Ingredients needed:

1 pound fresh crab meat
3 slices of white bread, crust removed
1 egg beaten
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
1 tablespoon parsley

Preparation steps:

* Make breadcrumbs in food processor so they are chopped up fine.
* In a large bowl, mix together egg, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, and Old Bay seasoning.
* Add breadcrumbs and crab meat and mix by hand to avoid breaking up too many of the lumps. You may need to break up the very large lumps so the crab balls will stay together.
* Shape into 24 balls and fry in batches in hot oil until golden brown, turning once.
* Drain on paper towels.
* Serve with your favorite sauce or don't use any!

1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 medium sized bag of nacho cheese Doritos, crushed

Preparation steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Lightly spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Spread the bottom of the pan with half of the Doritos . Reserve one cup of cheese. Mix together remaining ingredients in a large bow. Pour chicken mixture over the Doritos. Top casserole with the remaining cheese and Doritos. Bake 30 minutes or until bubbly.

Ingredients needed:

2 lbs. of chicken tenders or 4 large chicken breasts
2 sleeves of Ritz crackers
1/4 teaspoons of salt
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 cup of whole milk
3 cups cheddar cheese, grated
1 teaspoon of dried parsley

Sauce:
1 10 ounce can cream of chicken soup
2 tablespoon sour cream
2 tablespoon butter

Preparation steps:

* Crush crackers. If using chicken breasts and not tenders, cut each chicken breast into 3 large pieces. Pour the milk, cheese and cracker crumbs into 3 separate small pans. Toss the salt and pepper into the cracker crumbs and stir the mixture around to combine. Dip each piece of chicken into the milk and then the cheese. Press the cheese into the chicken with your fingers. Then press the cheesy coated chicken into the cracker crumbs and press it in.

* Spray a 9×13 pan with cooking spray and lay the chicken inside the pan. Sprinkle the dried parsley over the chicken. Cover the pan with tin foil and bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. Remove the tin foil, bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the edges of the chicken are golden brown and crispy.

* In a medium sized sauce pan, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream and butter with a whisk. Stir it over medium high heat until the sauce is nice and hot. Serve over the chicken.

* 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed (from 17.3 oz. package)
* 1 tablespoon of olive oil
* 3/4 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
* 1 large onion, coarsely chopped (1 cup)
* 1 cup of quartered ready-to-eat baby-cut carrots
* 3/4 cup of frozen sweet peas
* 1/2 cup of sour cream
* 1 jar of chicken gravy (12 oz.)
* 2 tablespoons of corn starch
* 1/4 teaspoon of dried thyme leaves
* 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
* 1 egg, beaten, if desired

Preparation steps:

* Heat oven to 375 degrees. On a lightly floured surface, unroll puff pasty. With rolling pin, roll out into 11-inch square. Cut off corners to make 11-inch round. Cut slits in pastry; set aside.
* In a 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add chicken; cook about 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until no longer pink in the center. Add onion and carrots; cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until vegetables are crisp-tender. Remove from heat; stir in peas.
* In medium bowl, beat remaining ingredients except egg with wire whisk until well blended. Stir into chicken mixture in skillet. Spoon into 9 1/2-inch glass deep-dish pie plate. Place pastry over filling, allowing pastry to hang over the edge.
* Bake for 20 minutes. Brush crust with beaten egg. Cover edge of crust with strips of foil to prevent excessive browning. Bake 25 minutes longer or until crust is golden brown. Let stand for 10 minutes prior to serving.

Ingredients needed:

* 1 can of refrigerated classic pizza crust
* 3/4 cup of jellied cranberry sauce
* 2 cups of prepared stuffing
* 1 cup of shredded cooked turkey
* 1/2 cup of turkey gravy
* 1 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese

Preparation steps:

* Heat oven to 425 degrees. Spray 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking spray. Unroll dough in pan. Starting at center, press out dough to edges of pan. Bake 8 minutes or until light golden brown.
* Spread cranberry sauce over partially baked crust. Evenly top with stuffing and turkey. Drizzle gravy over pizza; top with cheese.
* Bake 10 minutes longer or until edges are golden brown and cheese is melted.

* 1 box of spaghetti
* 1/2 cup of butter
* 1/3 cup of all-purpose flour

* 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
* 1 quart of half-and-half
* 8 slices of bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled
* 1 bag of Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers frozen sweet peas, thawed
* 1 1/2 cups of grated Parmesan cheese
* 1 egg, slightly beaten
* 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley

Preparation steps:

* Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 13x9-inch (3 quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
* In a 5-quart Dutch oven, cook and drain spaghetti as directed on the package; set aside. In same Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Cook and stir over medium heat until smooth and bubbly. Gradually stir in half-and-half. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat.
* Add cooked spaghetti, bacon, peas and 1 cup of the cheese; toss to coat spaghetti. Stir in egg. Spoon into baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
* Bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until set and edges are bubbly. Sprinkle with parsley. Cut into squares to serve.

* Heat oven to 350 degrees. Brush 1 side of each bread slice with oil. Line bottom and side of ungreased 9 1/2-inch deep-dish glass pie plate with bread, oil sides up and slightly overlapping.
* Bake 5 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Meanwhile, in large bowl, gently mix meatballs, vegetables and pasta sauce. Spoon mixture into crust.

Creamy Hot Chicken Salad Oven Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 3/4 cup of coarsely crushed potato chips
* 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
* 6 cups of chopped cooked chicken
* 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
* 2 cups of chopped celery (4 stalks)
* 1 cup of chopped red and/or yellow sweet pepper
* 1/4 cup of sliced green onions
* 1 can of cream of chicken soup
* 1 cup of mayonnaise
* 1 8-ounce carton of sour cream
* 1 teaspoon of dried thyme or basil, crushed
* 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
* Sourdough bread slices, toasted (optional)
* Coarsely crushed potato chips (optional)
* 1 recipe for Caramelized Red Onion (optional) (See below)

Preparation steps:

* Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a small bowl, combine the 3/4 cup crushed potato chips and the pecans; set aside.
* In a large bowl, stir together chicken, cheese, celery, sweet pepper, and green onions. In a medium bowl, combine soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, thyme, and black pepper. Pour soup mixture over chicken mixture; fold gently to combine. Transfer mixture to an ungreased 3-quart rectangular baking dish. Sprinkle with potato chip mixture.
* Bake, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes or until heated through and bubbly around the edges. If desired, serve on toasted bread and top with additional crushed chips and/or Caramelized Red Onion.

Recipe for Caramelized Red Onion: Cut 1 small red onion into thin wedges. In a small saucepan, cook onion, covered, in 1 tablespoon hot butter over low heat about 15 minutes or until tender and golden, stirring occasionally

Ingredients needed:

* 1 1/2 pounds whole seedless red grapes
* 1 16-ounce tube refrigerated cooked polenta, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
* 1 small red onion, cut into thin wedges
* 1 teaspoon snipped fresh rosemary
* 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil
* 6 uncooked sweet and/or spicy Italian sausage links (about 1 1/2 pounds)
* 1 to 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Preparation steps:

* Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In an ungreased 3-quart rectangular baking dish combine grapes, polenta, onion, and rosemary. Drizzle with oil; toss gently to coat.
* Using a fork, prick each sausage link in several places. Add sausages to baking dish, pressing lightly into grape mixture.
* Bake, uncovered, for 50 to 60 minutes or until sausages are cooked through and grapes are slightly shriveled. Drizzle with vinegar; toss gently to coat.

Ingredients needed:

* 4 medium Granny Smith apples
* 2 medium Granny Smith apples
* 2 medium Cortland apples
* 2 medium Mcintosh apples
* 1 large lemon
* 1/2 cup of sugar
* 1/3 cup of all-purpose flour
* 8 cinnamon sugar coated apple cider doughnuts
* 5 tablespoons of butter, melted

Preparation steps:

* Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Peel, core and cut apples into wedges; halve wedges crosswise so the pieces are smaller than 2 inches. Place apples in a large bowl. Juice the lemon, retaining as much pulp as possible. Add lemon juice and pulp to apples; toss gently to coat. Sprinkle with sugar and flour; toss gently to combine. Transfer mixture to a 3 quart rectangular baking dish.
* Arrange doughnuts on top of apple mixture; drizzle with melted butter. Bake about 45 minutes or until filling is bubbly. If necessary to prevent overbrowning, cover loosely with foil for the last 15 minutes of baking. Serve warm.

Ingredients needed:
* 12 bacon strips, diced
* 1 loaf (1 pound) frozen bread dough, thawed
* 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
* 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
* 1 envelope (1 ounce) ranch salad dressing mix

Preparation steps:
* In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat for 5 minutes or until partially cooked; drain on paper towels. Roll out dough to 1/2-in. thickness; brush with 1 tablespoon of oil. Cut into 1-in. pieces; place in a large bowl. Add the bacon, cheese, dressing mix and remaining oil; toss to coat.
* Arrange pieces in a 9-in. x 5-in. oval on a greased baking sheet, layering as needed. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled.
* Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Cover with foil; bake 5-10 minutes longer or until golden brown.

* 4 servings instant mashed potatoes
* 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation steps:

* Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix Gravy Mix, ground beef, minced onion and pepper in large bowl. Shape into a loaf, 2 inches high, in shallow baking pan.
* Stir chives into prepared mashed potatoes. Spread over meat loaf.
* Bake 55 minutes or until cooked through. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 2 minutes longer or until cheese melts.

LOUISIANA HOT CRAB DIP

Ingredients:

1/2 pound jumbo lump crabmeat, free of shells
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup grated Parmesan
3 tablespoons minced green onions (white and green parts)
2 large garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

* Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

* Combine all of the ingredients in a casserole dish and gently stir until thoroughly mixed. Adjust seasoning to taste. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until lightly golden on top. Serve hot.
