Seafood Stuffed Shells Oven Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 30 uncooked jumbo pasta shells
* 1/2 pound of bay scallops
* 2 teaspoons of butter
* 2 eggs
* 2 cups of cream-style cottage cheese
* 1 carton of ricotta cheese
* 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
* 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
* 1 can of lumb crabmeat, drained
* 3/4 pound of frozen cooked small shrimp, thawed
* 1 jar of Alfredo sauce (approximately 15 ounces)

Preparation steps:

* Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
* Cook pasta shells according to package directions.
* In a small skillet over medium heat, cook scallops in butter for 2 minutes or until opaque. Transfer to a large bowl.
* Place one egg and half of the cottage cheese, ricotta, nutmeg and pepper in a blender; cover and process until smooth. Add to the scallops. Repeat with the remaining egg, cottage cheese, ricotta, nutmeg and pepper. Add to the scallops. Stir in the crab and shrimp.
* Drain shells and rinse in cold water. Stuff with the seafood mixture. Place in a greased 13 inch by 9 inch baking dish. Top with Alfredo sauce. Cover and bake for 35 minutes.
